To watch Apollo Group TV on Kodi, install the official PVR IPTV Simple Client add-on, enter your playlist (M3U) link, add the EPG link for the TV guide, and open the TV section. If your activation email only has a server address, username and password, you can build both links from those details. Everything comes from Kodi's built-in add-on repository, so no third-party add-ons or builds are needed.
Kodi is free, open-source media center software that runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, Android TV and Fire TV. It is not made by Apollo TV Stream. Menu names can differ slightly between Kodi versions; the steps below follow recent releases.
What you need
- Kodi installed from kodi.tv, or from the Google Play Store on Android devices.
- Your activation email. It contains either a playlist (M3U) link, or a server address with a username and password. Either works.
- The EPG (TV guide) link, if your email includes one.
No playlist link? Build it from your login details
Kodi's IPTV Simple Client needs a playlist link. If your email gives you a server address, username and password instead, most IPTV services that use this type of login accept playlist and guide links in the format below.
http://SERVER/get.php?username=USERNAME&password=PASSWORD&type=m3u_plus&output=tshttp://SERVER/xmltv.php?username=USERNAME&password=PASSWORD- Replace SERVER with the server address from your email, including the port number if there is one (for example, the part after http:// such as name.example:8080). Leave out any trailing slash.
- Replace USERNAME and PASSWORD with your own details, keeping upper- and lower-case letters exactly as written.
- Type the link into a browser first: if it starts downloading a file, the link works.
If the link does not work, message support on WhatsApp at +1 (860) 699-7174 and ask for your M3U playlist link; we will send the exact link for your account. Keep these links private, because they contain your password.
Step 1: Install PVR IPTV Simple Client
- Open Kodi and select Add-ons in the side menu.
- Choose Install from repository, then Kodi Add-on repository.
- Open PVR clients and select PVR IPTV Simple Client.
- Select Install and wait for the confirmation message.
Step 2: Add your playlist
- Open PVR IPTV Simple Client from My add-ons → PVR clients and select Configure. On newer Kodi versions, choose Add add-on configuration first.
- Under General, set Location to Remote path (Internet address).
- Select M3U playlist URL and enter your playlist link, either the one from your email or the one you built above, exactly as written.
Step 3: Add the TV guide (EPG)
- In the same configuration screen, open EPG settings.
- Set Location to Remote path (Internet address).
- Select XMLTV URL and enter the EPG link from your email (or the guide link you built above), then select OK.
Step 4: Enable the client and start watching
- Make sure the add-on is enabled. Kodi shows a notification while it loads channels.
- Go back to the home screen and open TV. Choose Channels to browse or Guide to see the schedule.
- If nothing appears, restart Kodi so it reloads the playlist.
Large channel lineups can take a few minutes to load the first time, especially on low-powered streaming sticks. Later loads are faster.
Use official add-ons only
You do not need any third-party repositories, add-ons or "builds" to watch Apollo Group TV on Kodi. Add-ons from unknown sources can slow Kodi down, break after updates or contain malware, so stick to the official Kodi Add-on repository.
Troubleshooting Kodi
"No PVR client enabled" or no TV menu
Open My add-ons → PVR clients, select PVR IPTV Simple Client and choose Enable. Then restart Kodi.
Channels load but the guide is empty
Check the XMLTV URL in EPG settings, then clear the guide data in Kodi's PVR & Live TV settings so it downloads again. Some channels have no guide data.
Playlist fails to load
Re-enter the playlist link and look for missing characters or spaces. Links only work while your subscription is active; see the login guide for account errors.
Prefer a simpler app? The Apollo TV app signs in with just a username and password, and TiviMate is a popular alternative on Android TV. For help, message support on WhatsApp at +1 (860) 699-7174.
